Aptly, this small, family-run grocery store's produce section is well-stocked and inexpensive, and their bread, from Donato's Bakery in Ukrainian Village, will addict you to its quality. Their staff are friendly as well. Weirdly, however, this is worlds apart from their dried and canned goods, which (perhaps because all seemingly imported from Europe or the Levant) are sold at extreme markups--that is, if they're available at all, as entire shelves of staple foods often sit empty, forcing a trip to a second grocery store if--heavens forbid--you need a specific ingredient for a recipe. Recently, for instance, they were out of beans and chili powder! In sum: if you live in the area, go to HPP for your fruits and veggies and to TJ's for everything else.

The food is usually very good. Especially the deli food. It is helpful to order hot food delivered.

They have a wide variety of fresh produce. They also have a deli that features soup that most of time is pretty good. You won't find a lot of unhealthy products such as coke and pepsi
